Save Scanned Data to a SharePoint Server Using ControlCenter4 Home Mode

Scan documents and save them to a folder in Sharepoint.

Select Home Mode as the mode setting for ControlCenter4.

  1. Load your document.
  2. Click the (ControlCenter4) icon in the task tray, and then click Open.
  3. Click the Scan tab.
  4. Select the Document Type.
  5. Change the size of your document, if needed.
  6. Click (Scan).
    The machine starts scanning, and the scanned image appears in the image viewer.
  7. Click the left or right arrow buttons to preview each scanned page.
  8. Click Save.
    The Save dialog box appears.
  9. Click the File Type drop-down list, and then select the file type.
    To save the document as a password-protected PDF, select Secure PDF (*.pdf) from the File Type drop-down list, click , and then type the password.
  10. In the File Name field, type a prefix for your file name, if needed.
  11. In the Scan Location field, select the SharePoint radio button, and then type the server address where you would like to save your scanned documents.
  12. Click the Connection Test button to confirm the server connection.
    The message Connected appears.
    If the security dialog box appears, type your user name and password.
  13. Click OK.
    The scanned document is saved in the destination server.
