Access the Remote Setup Program for Windows®

  • If your computer is protected by Windows® Firewall and is unable to use Remote Setup, you may need to configure the firewall settings to allow communication through port numbers 137 and 161.
  • If you are using Windows® Firewall and you installed Multi-Function Suite from the Installer CD-ROM, the necessary firewall settings have already been set.
  • If the Secure Function Lock is set to On, you cannot use Remote Setup.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • (Windows Vista® and Windows® 7)

      Click (Start)>All Programs>Fuji Xerox>Fuji Xerox Utilities.

      Click the drop-down list and select your model name (if not already selected). Click Tools in the left navigation bar, and then click Remote Setup.

    • (Windows® 8)

      Click (Fuji Xerox Utilities), and then click the drop-down list and select your model name (if not already selected). Click Tools in the left navigation bar, and then click Remote Setup.

  2. No password is required by default. Type a password if you have set one and click OK.
    You can use BRAdmin Light or Web Based Management to change and set the password.
You can now change machine and network settings, including print server settings, as needed.
