Set Glass Scan Size for Faxing

When faxing Letter size documents, you must set the scan glass size to Letter; otherwise, a portion of your faxes will be missing. (For Philippines, read "Letter" as "A4".)

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press or to display the General Setup option, and then press OK.
  3. Press or to display the Glass ScanSize option, and then press OK.
  4. Press or to display the Letter option, and then press OK.
  5. Press Stop/Exit.

  1. Load your document.
  2. Press (Fax)>Options>Glass Scan Size.
  3. Press Letter.
  4. Press OK.
  5. Enter the fax number.
  6. Press Fax Start.
