If you just want to use SUMO, simply download and run one of our pre-built packages. Everything needed to run SUMO is already included. The only thing you should also install is Python, which is needed for executing the additional scripts in the tools-folder.

If you also want to extend SUMO, you can download the source distribution and build SUMO. If you have built the package on a system not included within our binary distribution, please let us know and send it to us, so that we can include it into the pages.
