Nation must confess
We are a nation that has accepted innocent blood to be shed, suspended truth and justice for the so-called land redistribution, yet the situation is even worse than before.
Unless we repent, confess our sins and ask for forgiveness and pray, we are a doomed nation, a doomed people. We need to pray that we get a leader who is not bloodthirsty, a leader with no heart of stone and someone not callous and dictatorial. We need someone who is not arrogant. We need a person who is God-fearing, someone with a loving heart, a true statesman who preaches peace and love.
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." God loves us and He is faithful. It is sad when we allow such untruths as we hear so often these days, "the opposition is spineless and has violent characters", this from our leader.
Who on earth doesn't know of President Mugabe's degrees in violence? Who has caused unendurable suffering to Zimbabweans through the chaotic land reform program?
These are things that we need to confess before Almighty God, Sovereign Lord. God bless Zimbabwe.
